For Primary School Children
About The Resus Rangers Programme
From September 2020 all UK schools will be required to teach First Aid as a part of their curriculum.
Resus Rangers is on a mission to teach every child in every school in the UK first aid. With over 25 years of the first aid training industry we know the importance of having these life saving skills, but teaching children is not like teaching adults this is why we have developed a fun, interactive programme specifically for the children. We have made it our mission to approach what can be emotive topics, such as CPR through the perspective of a child.
We understand that even for adults first aid can be frightening, that is why our programme is carefully adapted to help the teachers discuss these topics, with motivation and positive rewards for the children when they complete each section of the programme.
The Resus Rangers Programme is designed for Primary School teachers to deliver essential First Aid lessons to their pupils in a fun and friendly way.
The Programme is split across two Key Stages (KS1 & KS2) and includes topics such as Minor Injuries, Recovery Position and an introduction to CPR. These lessons are designed to be totally flexible. You can teach all the topics in each Key Stage in one Core Lesson, or spend time with each topic in individual lessons.
Detailed Lesson Plans, Online Resources and Animations will allow you to confidently deliver these lessons with all information provided by a leading UK First Aid Training organisation.
