Resus Rangers First Aid Champion wins 'Child of Sussex' award!

Updated: Jul 6

We are so delighted to share the news, that Evie, aged 7, from Eastbourne, has won the ‘Achiever of the Year Award' at this years 'Child of Sussex Awards' by More Radio, Sussex, for all her help and support with Resus Rangers.

Evie, has been a First Aid champion for Resus Rangers First Aid Programme since the age of 5 and has since become the face of Resus Rangers, helping to inspire over 22,000 Primary School Children across the UK to learn First Aid.

Not only has Evie helped the business to understand how children her age learn, but she has also helped us to understand what interests and inspires children her age to learn. With Evie’s help we have been able to create a first aid education programme, which is relevant and engaging for all primary school children.

Evie has helped create a range of fun and educational first aid activities, and she has also featured in many first aid educational videos to help demonstrate first aid techniques to show other children how easy giving first aid can be, helping to build their confidence to help others in an emergency. In November 2022, Evie featured in our Firework Safety assembly video to demonstrate the 'Stop, Drop, and Roll technique', which was viewed by over 4,000 Year 5 pupils across the UK.

Resus Rangers would like to thank our Evie, our First Aid Champion for all her hard work and support!
