Primary School First Aid Workshops

For Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2

We understand that sometimes teachers would prefer to have an outside expert deliver First Aid instruction to their children. As well as our Resus Rangers First Aid Teacher-Led Resources, we also offer First Aid Workshops for your pupils delivered using the interactive animated programme.

The workshops are child-centred and the content is specifically designed to teach First Aid skills in a fun and interactive way. Our four little characters, called the Resus Rangers, will take your children on a journey led by the Resus Ranger Leader. This includes 'Teddy Resus', games, songs and rhymes to help learn these important skills.

Our First Aid Workshops are ideal for enrichment days across your school. We can deliver a combination of workshops and shorter assemblies for younger year groups, working flexibly around your timetable.

Workshop Content

Our First Aid Workshops are based on our Resus Rangers First Aid spiral curriculum - each year group will learn a new skill every year!

  • Assembly (20 minutes)

    20 minute assembly with the whole school covering the following topics:

    • What is First Aid?

    • Helping a friend who is hurt
    • Calling 999
    • Getting help from an adult

  • Year 1 (1 hour)

    • What is First Aid?

    • Unconscious Casualty - Primary Survey

  • Year 2 (1 hour)

How does it work?

You can book a single Resus Rangers First Aid Workshop session, or book us for a whole day to train the whole school using our Resus Rangers First Aid spiral curriculum, which includes a FREE whole-school assembly.

Primary School First Aid Workshops (plus assembly)

Book the Resus Rangers for a full day of First Aid Workshops and we will deliver an assembly to the whole school for free!
